There are thousands of Wordpress themes out there. Like the Top Gun academy, we admit only the best of the best.
We don’t really have any frequently asked questions. We’re not really that cool or popular. So here are some questions that might one day have been frequently asked if I didn’t answer them here.
How do you decide what the best Wordpress themes are?
There are no strict rules or criteria for inclusion. Some of the factors that impress me include: clean design; flexibility for use with different types of blogs; valid code; and beautiful colour schemes. I won’t include themes that contain sponsored links that the theme author says can’t be removed.
Why do you include themes that don’t validate?
I believe validation matters, truly I do. But most bloggers out there, they just want their site to look good in the most commonly used browsers. That’s why validation is a factor that impresses me, but it’s not a must-have for inclusion.
This is a site about Wordpress themes. Does it run on Wordpress?
Yes. Although the site was originally designed as a simple two-page website that had no need for a dynamic publishing system, I now have bigger plans for the site, which will be rolled out using Wordpress.
Are those affiliate links I see in the premium themes section?
Yes, we use affiliate links where they are available. If you choose to buy a premium theme using one of our affiliate links, you’ll be helping to support www.bestwpthemes.com. But please note that we’re not swayed to include themes just because they offer an affiliate program. Some of the premium themes we feature have affiliate programs; some don’t. There are also other premium themes out there that don’t make the cut for our list but which do offer affiliate payments.
How do I recommend a theme, or send in a comment or criticism?
