Futurosity Aperio

First thing’s first: Futurosity Aperio is not a theme for the Wordpress beginner. If you don’t know your way around Wordpress, CSS and HTML coding, at least a little, then this theme is probably not for you.

The theme author is still calling Futurosity Aperio a prototype. That means there are probably still some bugs to iron out and everything is not looking perfect.

Nonetheless, the homepage of this theme has an exceptional and unique web magazine-style appearance displaying an image for each post, and laying the text over the top of the image. The single post pages aren’t quite as impressive, and in my opinion would need a little CSS tweaking before use.

Nonetheless, for site owners looking for a unique, image-heavy magazine-style theme, this is a great starting point.

    Hi Jay,

    It doesn’t seem like the theme has an archive built in out of the box, though I’m sure you could add one.
