Hello 2007

UPDATE: This theme appears to no longer be available.

The Hello 2007 Wordpress theme is grey, white and blue all over and screams Web 2.0.

Don’t be frightened off by the Japanese (I think it’s Japanese) on the theme’s homepage. The theme itself is ready to use in English, though some hand tweaking of the header and footer is necessary.

Pros:

  • Clean lines, very legible text
  • Puts the focus on the content of your posts

Cons:

  • You’ll need to jump into the code in order to add your own header image and to tweak the navigation bar. Also, the footer includes old coding to add tags, so you’ll need to jump in there and clean that up. Nothing too complicated though.

    Thanks for the heads-up singularity. You’re right, the download link has gone walkabout. At this stage I can’t find an alternative download source. If the page doesn’t reappear in the next few days I might have to remove Hello 2007 from the list.
