Portfolio

Portfolio is a sleek and sexy but somewhat flawed WordPress theme making it easy for photographers or designers to create a site showcasing their latest work.

I say sleek and sexy because it looks modern, has wonderful typography and large images which would create an attractive-looking portfolio site.

However, I say it’s flawed because you can’t link to any of the individual entries and nor do the portfolio items link to the websites being showcased. Neither of these decisions makes much sense.

Nonetheless, the theme author says some of those problems will be updated in future releases, or if you’re able to tweak the design a little you might be able to do it yourself.

    erm… the reason the portfolio items dont link to the websites is that they’re not meant to. They’re not real. He is just using the images etc as an example to show how to use the template. Look at the client names and companyy names BILL GATES!! Microspoft etc

    I guess not being able to link to news items is fine if you are wanting to use it for a “brochure” style site only and if you want to do more with it as you say, just tweak it. Nice design anyway (and cute boy in the About section!! LOL)
