Doc is an unashamedly minimalist WordPress theme, and that’s where its appeal lies. It’s all about writing and reading.
The theme places all emphasis on content. In fact, its one-column design demands that you focus directly on what’s in front of you, not the shiny icons to your left or right. If it weren’t for the subtle references to comments below each theme, you could almost be convinced you were reading right from your word processor.
Once you scroll to the bottom of the page, you’ll notice all the comforts of a well-rounded theme: blogroll, categories and search box. The beauty of this blog design is its simplicity. It will be a nice change of pace for your visitors. Its effective use of white space keeps it from looking boring or amateurish.

Frugal is a clean, three-column theme that comes in two flavours: premium and professional. While both boast many similar conveniences, such as built-in ad widgets, an ebook guide to working with the theme, and threaded comments, the two paid versions do have some extras.
Frugal Premium is a more traditional WordPress theme built with easy customization in mind. It was developed for non-programmers, and most aesthetic changes can be made from the WordPress backend, without having to write a single line of code. But for those who do want to dive into the code, Frugal Premium’s structure is easy to understand.
Frugal Professional was built for the more code-savvy WordPress developer. Although many simple changes can still be made in the backend, larger changes will require working with the theme itself. Further, Frugal Professional was built as a framework, providing the end user with ultra clean code and myriad hooks for custom content.

Cost:
Frugal Premium and Professional are sold as a combo pack. A single use licence costs $US79, a multi-use licence costs $US149, and a developer licence runs to $US199.

UnderCon is a free, simple theme with a single purpose: to provide an attractive, customizable domain parking theme for WordPress users.
Think of this theme as an “Under Construction” page for the modern web.
This theme is a great solution for WordPress users who already own their site’s future domain, but aren’t yet ready for their site to hit the big time. It offers a sign-up form (powered by Google Feedburner) for visitors to subscribe to receive updates on the site’s progress and eventual launch.
The title, description, and logo are all customizable from within WordPress, so there’s no back-end work to do.

The developer of theme has taken extra effort to make this theme flexible and highly usable, with nifty features such as automatic image resizing and jquery effects to display photos.
In all, this is a very neat package, and makes a great platform from which to promote your creative services.
The design has a nice, bright and airy feel to it. Adding your own branding to the site is as simple as installing the theme and replacing the theme’s logo with your own.

For designer Rob Goodlatte, Flow is a proof-of-concept WordPress theme, but to my eyes it’s a highly readable blog layout with minimalist stylings.
Goodlatte created the theme to showcase a web design technique known as ‘variable type size’, meaning that as a user resizes their browser window the type size in the main content area changes proportionately. The result is that the key content is attractive and easy to read no matter what size the browser window.
The sidebar column, present only on the home page, is set at a fixed 12-pixel font size so it always remains secondary.
