The Block Magazine theme boasts an attractive magazine-style homepage layout in blue and white tones.

The two most recent posts are highlighted on the homepage, and then five more posts are shown in a tabbed sidebar box, which can show the most recent posts, the most popular posts or the posts with the most comments.

The theme has an integrated ad spot below the sidebar.

    This isn’t a free theme. I believe it costs $79.
